Cranberry Orange Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 4 oz full fat coconut milk
  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 scoop (27g) Vanilla PurePaleo Protein, or vanilla protein powder of your choice
  • 1/2 C cranberries
  • 1/2 peeled orange, segmented with any seeds removed (Blendtec) or 2 oz orange juice (everyday blender)
  • 5 ice cubes

Instructions

Instructions for a Blendtec:

  1. Add all the ingredients to the Blendtec in the order listed in the ingredient section, above. Either the orange or the orange juice will work.
  2. Select the smoothie cycle.
  3. Pour into a serving glass and garnish with extra nutmeg and/or orange zest, if desired.

Instructions for an everyday blender:

  1. Add all the ingredients to the blender in the order listed in the ingredients section, above. Be sure to use orange juice instead of the half orange.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add ice and blend again.
  4. Pour into a serving glass and garnish with extra nutmeg and/or orange zest, if desired.
